  On the Master Archive, when you add many pages and press Enter on the screen or keypad you have no way of knowing what the machine is doing if anything. There is no hourglass or other indication that the computer is processing the request to add pages - perhaps a message should appear in the message frame

• INCOMPLETE - Master Archive gets very slow when there are many pages - is there a way to get it to flush so it spills cleanly instead of just hanging until the whole table is in? - debug - high

• FIXED - Timing error in skyWriter in IE (intermittent), "whichPageASCII does not exist". A fix is in where flags are set and checked to prevent the race condition. It seems to work now, but further testing is needed. - Deploy - High

  automatic (5 minute) exclusive access - this time is a pages module-wide setting, overriddable by a stting at the page series level

  Reservation of pages - in order to reserve a page, an author sets a longer duration of exclusive access from the skyWriter. The start and end are stored in the reservations table
